Dillard’s Cookbook
Success

There’s always something cooking at the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City, and that’s due in no small part to the efforts of our local Dillard’s stores. They once again sold the amazing Southern Living Cookbook throughout the holiday season and donated proceeds to the Charity, raising over $7,000 for our local chapter! We’re deeply grateful for all the support provided by Dillard’s; along with the annual cookbook sales they also hold a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year that help our guest families be stronger together when dealing with tough medical situations. Dillard’s love and dedication is one of the best recipes we have for our families’ success!

(And if you missed your chance to pick up a cookbook, we have a few copies of the 2017 edition available for purchase at the House for just $10!)

Lunah’s Light

A child of both the Netherlands and Colombia, born in Aruba, Lunah’s short life has already encompassed more hills and valleys, challenges and miracles, than others may experience in decades. In December 2015 Lunah was born with a congenital heart defect, and her parents were told it could be corrected surgically when she was three to six months old. Just two weeks later, however, the baby was also diagnosed with Edward’s Syndrome, a chromosomal condition….

See her story here.

Gala Auction

At RMHC we have officially kicked off our Spirit of Children Gala campaign! This means we are preparing for a spectacular night on April 28th that includes a cocktail reception, open bar, live entertainment, gourmet dinner and dancing, not to mention our exceptional live and silent auctions! We are planning a festive evening, and our current focus is procuring donations for our silent auction. Heartfelt THANK YOUs go to our 12 dedicated volunteers who are currently reaching out to our friends in the community for gifts that help us raise funds to support our mission. If you or someone you know would like to participate in our charity auction, please contact Jennifer Bean at 801-363-4663 or jennifer@rmhslc.org for more information.

RMHC Historical Timeline

As we celebrate an incredible first thirty years of friendship, philanthropy, community support, and helping families of seriously ill or injured children be stronger together, we wanted to look back at how far we’ve come. Our hearts go out to those who helped to start it all, who have stood with us and the families we serve along the way, and to those who have joined with us since to make sure the future is warm and welcoming for parents and children in all the years to come!

Celebrating a Legacy of Gratitude

We are the beneficiaries of an amazing amount of love and support these past 30 years. So many individuals, corporations and foundations have made an indelible mark on this charity by leaving their Legacy of Love in support of pediatric patient families.

Would you like to learn how you could be part of this legacy? A planned legacy gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities offers the opportunity to make an enduring statement for families now and in the future. We are deeply grateful for the generous donors who impact for the better the lives of pediatric patient families – and whose contributions make our mission possible.

To learn more about leaving your Legacy of Love, please visit our webpage on Planned Giving or contact us so we can send you a brochure.

If you have any questions, please contact Vickie Moschetti, Chief Development Officer at 801-363-4663 or Vickie@rmhslc.org.
