All American Classics Fundraisers

In the past 30 years Ronald McDonald House Charities has had the support of many wonderful corporate partners and individuals that raise funds to help keep our doors open and serve families in need. One of these long standing partners is All American Classics. The team at AAC host auctions in different businesses throughout Utah, which a portion of the funds earned, goes to our local RMHC. Their donations have equaled over $36,000 since the time they started this partnership. We love our friends at All American Classics and thank them from the bottom of our hearts for all they have done and continue to do for the families we serve! We also want to thank all the businesses that hold these auctions. To see where the AAC auctions are being held, click the link to find one near you!

Remmy’s Story

Congratulations Remmy! A GOLD MEDAL WINNER in bowling and the youngest participant – at only 3 years old – in the Transplant Games of America! The oldest participant was 89!  We were so glad to welcome Remmy and his amazing mom, dad and baby sister at Ronald McDonald House this week while he had a check-up and won a gold medal! Hard to believe he received a beautiful new liver just last year.

Men & Kilts

Halò! Welcome to Good Men & Kilts, an exciting online fundraiser that benefits Ronald McDonald Charities of the Intermountain Area! Each year we collect a group of braw laddies (er, local gents) willing to bare their knees and don the plaid for a good cause. The fellows each have their own webpage for friends and visitors to check out, and then vote for their favorite. With our enthusiastic participants/campaign teams, each ‘vote’ will consist of a $25 charitable donation gathered through each Kilter’s microsite. At the end of the month-long campaign the Laddie (Kilter team) with the most votes will be crowned ‘King of the Kilts’!

The fundraiser will run from October 1 through 31. Vote early, vote often! Join the fun on social media to raise awareness… and spread the plaid! Slàinte!

The Best Charity to Donate to in Utah!

We want to express gratitude to our entire team of professional staff, amazing volunteers and dedicated board for their great stewardship of RMHC!!! Together we have positively impacted 8,021 pediatric patient families so far this year (as of June 30th.)  We also want to thank our kind and generous donors for their support and trust that helped us to receive this rating!

Thank You Red Butte Garden

Over the past year our families have had the pleasure of experiencing the Horticulture Therapy at the Red Butte Gardens. We are excited to have the Red Butte Gardens support our mission by giving our families an opportunity to experience every season by connecting with nature in a rewarding way.

Cornerstones of Love
Grand Giver Program

When difficulties arise in the life of a child, focus often narrows to the things that matter most: things like home and family. The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Intermountain Area (RMHC) is to surround families with the support they need to be near and care for their seriously ill or injured children – such as providing a place to call home while their child receives life-saving medical treatment at a local hospital and staying together as a family.

It is through the support of our generous community that we are able to help families hold on to precious time together.  Our Cornerstones of Love Grand Giver Program is comprised of a special group of individuals who make a personal annual direct gift of $1,000 or greater to ensure that the doors of the Ronald McDonald House remain open to all who need our services, now and in the future. Grand Givers are undoubtedly the cornerstone of love for thousands of families each year; coming together with a shared vision and determination to better our community. As a Grand Giver to RMHC you are the foundation of our work – you provide the profound, immediate support that makes our day-to-day programming possible and directly impacts families in need.

To view a brochure that includes giving levels and benefits of being a Cornerstones of Love Grand Giver, please click HERE.  Donations can be made in one lump sum or through monthly, quarterly or bi-annual installments, as well as an annual reoccurring gift. Your contribution will help to ease daily burdens and empower families of hospitalized children with meaningful experiences and quality time together.

We hope that you will consider becoming a Grand Giver and joining us for fine wine and great cuisine at an exclusive Cornerstones of Love Grand Givers Toast and Appreciation Dinner on October 18th at La Caille. The entire evening will be underwritten, allowing us to provide the highest quality evening for our guests while ensuring your donation goes directly to support the families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities.  If you have any questions about the Cornerstones of Love Grand Giver Program, the Appreciation Dinner, or Ronald McDonald House Charities, please contact Vickie Moschetti, Chief Stewardship & Major Gifts Officer at 801-363-4663 or vickie@rmhslc.org.
