Share Your Story with us for National Childhood Cancer Month
Last year, the Ronald McDonald House served 711 families who had children battling cancer. One of our courageous pediatric patients who stayed with us is Kenzan Ployhar. We celebrated her story in our holiday card last year with this story:
“Kenzan is a bright, vivacious and bubbly 5 year old who has also been fighting stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma since September 2018. Her family has stayed at the Ronald McDonald House as she has undergone chemotherapy, surgery, stem cell transplants, radiation and antibody therapy. Since she first arrived at the Ronald McDonald House, she became a big sister and started Kindergarten last year!”
If you have your own story about childhood cancer that you would like to share, we would love to spotlight it in September. Email your story and a photo to Lizzy.
If you have already recorded this story on social media or a blog, you can also send us the link.
Together, we can battle childhood cancer!
