Adopt-A-Bed Partners with Amore Beds to Donate New Mattresses to the Family Room

Having a place to rest is extremely important to the families who are supporting their child at Primary Children’s Hospital. The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide 8 overnight respite rooms where parents and loved ones of pediatric patients can get this rest. Last year, approximately 4,000 individuals used the rooms to sleep overnight or take a much needed nap during the middle of the day. On January 30th Adopt-A-Bed partnered with Amore Beds to provide new luxury mattresses to our family rooms. Thank you so much Amore Beds and Adopt-A-Beds for this generous donation that makes a real impact on our families! Click Here to read the full press release.

Dillard’s Christmas Cookbooks, a Great Success!

Another year, another fantastic Dillard’s cookbook!  We are incredibly grateful for the Utah Dillard’s stores and their dedication in supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities by annually donating the proceeds from their cookbook sales. THANK YOU to Dillard’s employees for selling the books and raising over $7,000 for RMHC and our families! And THANK YOU for purchasing a cookbook – not only did you pick up a mouth-watering collection of recipes, you’re making an impact in the lives of pediatric patients and helping us in #KeepingFamiliesClose!

If you didn’t get a chance to purchase your cookbook in December, you can still pick up your copy HERE.

2019 Spirit of Children Gala Silent Auction Donations Now Being Accepted!

On April 27, 2019, Ronald McDonald House Charities will be host our annual Spirit of Children Gala. The funds raised from this night help provide resources that, last year, impacted over 15,000 families through the Ronald McDonald House, Family Rooms, and Hospitality Carts. One of the major fundraising activities that evening is our Silent Auction. If you, or someone you know, would like to participate in our charity auction by donating items, services or gift certificates, please contact Kacie Pecor at 801-363-4663 or Kacie@rmhslc.orgfor more information.

Celebrating a Legacy of Gratitude

We all want to make the world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone. But leaving a lasting legacy requires planning and forethought. Making a planned gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area (RMHC) is a beautiful way to make a lasting difference in the lives of thousands of families with seriously ill or injured children.

Our Legacy of Love contributors know firsthand the impact their gift is making for parents and caregivers supporting pediatric patients. There are a variety of ways to give: some leave RMHC in their Will or Estate Plan, and some choose RMHC as a beneficiary for their IRA. Others have made a bequest to leave property to the Charity. Gifts are large and small and vary in type, but they all have one thing in common – they ensure that the doors to Ronald McDonald House Charities remain open now and into the future for pediatric patient families.

Would you like to learn how you could be part of this legacy?  Please visit our webpage on Planned Giving or contact us so we can send you a brochure.  If you have any questions, please contact Vickie Moschetti, Chief Stewardship & Major Gifts Officer at 801-363-4663 or Vickie@rmhslc.org.  If you have already included Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area in a future planned gift, please let us know so that we can thank you for your compassion and generosity and add you as a member of our Legacy of Love Society!
