The 2020 RMHC Annual Report -Now Available!
Our 2020 Annual Report is completed and is available for you to download on our website. It provides highlights of the remarkable and challenging year that we faced as we all navigated COVID-19. There is no doubt that the community showed up for RMHC in a very big way allowing us to continue to fulfill our mission, even in a modified way.

If you would like to receive a hard copy of our annual report in the mail, you can request that by emailing katie@rmhslc.org and providing your mailing address.

Kilts for Kids – 2021
We are looking for teams to participate in our annual Kilts for Kids – a really fun fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities that you can do with your crew virtually – and make a big impact!

This fundraising event is open to EVERYBODY! Email us of you are a:

  • Girl Scout or Boy Scout Troop,
  • a Church Group,
  • a School,
  • a Book Club,
  • a Sports Team, or
  • a Business, and \
  • any other type of group

The sky is the limit on who can participate!
This is the fundraiser where you and your best crew have a photo shoot wearing kilts (you can wear your own or we can provide the kilts!), then you help RMHC raise some money, and compete for two weeks to vie for the Kilts for Kids Crown and other fun prizes! You spread the word via email, social media, and other creative ways, and participate in some fun events. Every dollar you raise helps the families we serve! We will help you every step of the way!

If you are interested in learning more, please email Stephanie Stevens.

Health Tip From Hannah
Experts like to categorize trauma as little ‘t’ traumas and big ‘T’ traumas. When people think of trauma they often think of big ‘T’ traumas. These are big, significant events like having a loved one pass away, natural disasters, or abuse. Little ‘t’ traumas, however, are common and include events that exceed our capacity to cope. Examples are conflict among family and friends, divorce, or financial worries. Both traumas impact our mental health.

Mental Health America created a tool kit that includes tips on how to handle stress and any form of trauma. You can access the entire tool kit in the sources below as well as a link to the section of the tool kit discussing trauma and stress.
