The Park that Love Built

The Park that Love Built by O.C. Tanner for Ronald McDonald House Charities

Virtual Grand Opening Program

Families that are far from home with a seriously ill or injured child will be able to enjoy the new open greenspace surrounded by winding walking paths for strollers, wheelchairs and wagons as well as natural and accessible play areas, raised garden planters, benches and tables. The grass, trees and plantings will add healing beauty, clean air, and improve the mental and physical well-being of those that need it most.

Through adaptive reuse, the two historic cottages on the property, have been updated with seismic upgrades, sprinklers and fire suppression systems along with accessible entries and restrooms. The cottages will host RMHC Hospitality and Wellness programming such as music and movement therapy, parenting support and grief groups, and educational classes and workshops.
